Simone Rocha has turned eyebrows into tiny works of art for Spring/Summer 2027. At her latest London Fashion Week show, models appeared with detailed beaded flowers and sparkling pieces placed over their brows, making the unusual beauty look one of the runway's standout details.
The look was created by makeup artist Thomas de Kluyver, who worked with a mostly soft and natural face so the brows could take centre stage. While the style is already drawing attention, there is one important detail behind the viral images: beaded eyebrows are not completely new to Simone Rocha.
Beaded Flowers Eyebrows
For Spring/Summer 2027, de Kluyver decorated models' brows with small beads arranged into flower-like shapes. Some versions were colourful, while others used softer, pale and metallic-looking beads that made the brows resemble tiny pieces of jewellery. Beauty coverage from London Fashion Week described the finished brows as floral embellishments that matched Rocha's romantic style.
The rest of the face was kept much simpler, helping the decorated brows stand out. De Kluyver used Byredo products for the makeup, while Dr. Barbara Sturm products were also used for the beauty look. The result mixed fresh-looking skin with a much bolder detail directly above the eyes.
Simone Rocha's Romantic Runway
Rocha presented the Spring 2027 collection at the Old Bailey, London's Central Criminal Court, during London Fashion Week. The designer said she wanted a 'very pure show' that was focused on making each character look like the best version of themselves. With menswear now shown separately, this collection focused only on womenswear.
One of Rocha's main starting points was Caravaggio's painting The Taking of Christ. The work was long believed lost before it was identified in 1990 at a Jesuit residence in Dublin, and Rocha used the story of finding beauty in an unexpected place as part of her thinking for the collection. That idea appeared through rich fabrics, flowers and pieces that mixed soft romance with darker details.
The unusual brows fitted easily into that world. Instead of treating makeup as something that simply changes the colour of the face, the team made the brows look closer to jewellery or embroidery. With flowers already appearing across Rocha's clothes, placing similar decoration over the eyes carried the same idea onto the models' faces.
Beaded Brows Are Not New
Despite the fresh attention around the Spring 2027 look, this is not the first time Rocha and de Kluyver have experimented with beads on eyebrows. For Rocha's Autumn/Winter 2025 show, de Kluyver blocked out the models' natural brows and drew thin brows before adding pearlescent bugle beads in shades including pale pink, red and black.
That earlier look was different from the larger floral designs seen for Spring 2027. The new version pushes the idea further by turning the brow area into more detailed, three-dimensional flower shapes rather than simply adding a line of beads. Beauty coverage described the latest treatment as intricately beaded floral brows and 3D flowers.
The recurring idea is also consistent with Rocha's wider runway beauty language. De Kluyver previously described embellishment as a signature of the Simone Rocha beauty look. The latest version therefore looks less like a sudden new idea and more like the next step in Rocha's ongoing interest in turning eyebrows into fashion accessories.
Could Beaded Brows Become a Trend?
It is too early to say that beaded brows will become a major everyday beauty trend. However, the Simone Rocha look is already being singled out in beauty coverage of London Fashion Week, with the floral brows appearing among the standout Spring/Summer 2027 beauty looks.
The wider London runways have also shown a taste for playful makeup this season. Alongside Rocha's decorated brows, shows featured looks including iridescent blush, white lashes and white eyeliner, suggesting that some designers are moving beyond very simple runway beauty.
Whether shoppers will start glueing tiny flowers and beads to their own brows remains to be seen. What is clear is that Rocha and de Kluyver have turned an often overlooked part of the face into something closer to jewellery, and they have now returned to the idea more than once. For Spring 2027, the eyebrow is no longer just something to shape, brush or fill in.
