Somehow, she made both.
No, private jets have not become quite that fast yet, and no magic is involved. Unless you count movie magic, of course. While Swift was watching football in Kansas City, a pre-recorded version of the singer unexpectedly appeared during the Emmys in a Law & Order: Special Victims Unit sketch with host and longtime friend Mariska Hargitay.
Frankly, having Olivia Benson investigate Taylor Swift's whereabouts might be the only reasonable response to this scheduling conflict.
Olivia Benson Is on the Case
Yes, both the detective andthe cat were on the case. The sketch presented perhaps the most pressing mystery facing television that evening: would Taylor Swift actually attend the Emmys?
Hargitay slipped back into detective mode as Olivia Benson, complete with an evidence board dedicated to Swift and a surplus of clues. Her team was struggling to crack the case when an unusually familiar rookie entered the investigation.
Swift herself appeared as a new detective and immediately questioned everyone's methodology.

Cut to approximately everyone watching at home realising that was exactly what she was doing. The cameo was particularly fitting considering Swift's longstanding affection for SVU. She famously named one of her cats 'Olivia Benson' after Hargitay's character, and Olivia Benson the cat even joined Swift for the sketch.
Apparently, Taylor Swift can be in two places at once, and there is room for two Olivia Bensons on the screen.
Meanwhile, the Real Taylor Was at Arrowhead
While Detective Swift was busy solving her own disappearance on television, actual Swift was more than 1,500 miles away supporting Kelce at the Chiefs' first regular-season game.
She watched from a suite at Arrowhead Stadium alongside family and friends, with Tom Cruise also spotted joining the football festivities.
It marked another milestone for the newlyweds, with the game being Kelce's first regular-season outing since marrying Swift earlier this summer.
