Ye is bringing Yeezy back to the runway with a new collection in Los Angeles, marking a significant return for the fashion brand. The presentation will mark its first major runway show in more than four years, as the label continues to rebuild its business independently.
The Season 01 collection will debut on Wednesday, 4 November. It will be held at 8pm at Droam 1, Yeezy's new flagship store at 4317 Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles, drawing renewed attention to the brand's direction.

Yeezy Returns to Los Angeles
This is Yeezy's first major runway presentation since Season 9 in Paris, October 2022, which featured oversized puffer coats, fitted jumpsuits, leggings, and knee-high boots. However, that collection received widespread criticism after models appeared wearing 'White Lives Matter' shirts.
Fashion figures such as Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson and model Gigi Hadid publicly criticised the designs. Actor Jaden Smith walked out of the presentation in protest.
Ahead of the Season 01 presentation, PAP Magazine highlighted a tan-coloured bikini look from Yeezy's invitation slides. This image offered an early preview of Season 01. The event will reveal more details on silhouettes, materials, and designs.

The Adidas Partnership Split
Yeezy's return comes four years after Adidas ended its partnership with Ye in October 2022. The sportswear company terminated the collaboration after the rapper made remarks widely regarded as antisemitic. Other inflammatory statements also prompted several major brands and business partners to distance themselves from him.
Adidas described Ye's comments and actions as 'unacceptable, hateful and dangerous.' It added that they violated the company's values of diversity and inclusion.
The separation ended a commercially successful partnership that began in 2013 and helped establish Yeezy as a major name in the footwear market. However, the business relationship was formally settled in October 2024, when Adidas confirmed that both parties had agreed to end their outstanding legal proceedings.
At the time, CEO Bjørn Gulden stated that neither side would make further payments to the other, bringing their dispute to a close. He told reporters on a conference call, 'There isn't any more open issues, and there is no... money going either way, and we both move on,' he told reporters on a conference call.'
'There were tensions on many issues, and... when you put the claims on the right side and you put the claims on the left side, both parties said we don't need to fight anymore and withdrew all the claims.'
Yeezy Rebuilds Its Business
In addition to its runway plans, Yeezy is restoring its commercial presence through independent sales and new retail partnerships. The brand relaunched in early 2026, initially offering wardrobe essentials on its website before expanding footwear distribution.
Separately, in August, JD Sports began carrying independent Yeezy footwear, adding another retail channel. These expansion plans also include new footwear models. According to WWD, the Yeezy 800 sneaker and AB-01 Alpha boot are expected in December.
In January 2026, Ye published a full-page advertisement in The Wall Street Journal titled 'To Those I've Hurt,' apologising for his remarks and acknowledging the harm caused by his previous behaviour.
In the advertisement, he cited bipolar disorder and a brain injury from a 2002 car accident as factors in his behaviour. However, he made it clear that these diagnoses did not excuse his actions.
Many fans have expressed excitement about Yeezy's return. One Reddit user welcomed the decision to restart the collection numbering, stating, 'If this is legit, this is the most excited I've been for Yeezy in a while. I think restarting from SZN 1 is a good choice for Ye too now that he's completely independent.'
