Jimmy Choo Celebrates Thirty Years

Jimmy Choo celebrated its 30th anniversary with Pearls of Wisdom, a capsule collection launched on 6 October. Designed by creative director Sandra Choi, the collection revisits the pearl motif across footwear, handbags, and jewellery, highlighting a detail central to the brand's design history.

Notable designs include the Ithaca shoes, featuring pearls on a gold wedge, and the Irina sandal, adorned with crystals and pearls. Rather than introducing a new visual direction, the capsule uses a recurring house motif to tie the anniversary to the brand's established identity.

Chanel Opens San Diego Boutique

Chanel opened a new store at Westfield University Town Centre in San Diego, California, on 8 October. The store offers ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, watches, fine jewellery, fragrance, and beauty products in one location.

Architect Peter Marino, a longtime partner of the French fashion house, designed the two-story space, which covers about 16,000 square feet. Its design takes inspiration from Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel's Paris apartment at 31 Rue Cambon, connecting the new store to the brand's history.
