A woman has told an Australian court that what began as an exciting opportunity to meet her celebrity crush, British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly, turned into an alleged nightmare after a performance in Perth in September 2024.
The entertainer, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, is currently standing trial in Western Australia. He has pleaded not guilty to six counts of sexually penetrating a 20-year-old woman without consent, along with additional charges including allegedly impeding her breathing by applying pressure to her neck and multiple counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.
The allegations were outlined in court as the prosecution opened its case, with Barrientos denying all charges.
Court Hears Encounter Began After Perth Performance
According to the prosecution, the complainant attended one of Yung Filly's performances at a venue in Perth's northern suburbs and later gained access to a VIP area, where she met the social media personality and musician.
Prosecutors told the court that Barrientos allegedly made advances towards the woman before she accompanied him and members of his entourage after the event. The woman believed she was heading to an after-party but instead travelled to the performer's hotel.
The court heard that the pair initially engaged in consensual sexual activity inside Barrientos' hotel room. However, prosecutors allege that the situation changed dramatically during the encounter.
Prosecution Claims Consent Was Withdrawn
During opening statements, prosecutor Danielle Clarke alleged that Barrientos became increasingly aggressive, biting and slapping the woman during the encounter.
The court heard that the woman allegedly told him the biting was painful and asked him to be gentler. Prosecutors claim the behaviour intensified, with Barrientos allegedly responding by biting her harder and telling her to stop talking.
According to the prosecution, the complainant became fearful for her safety at that stage and withdrew her consent to continue having sex.
The jury heard allegations that Barrientos then sexually penetrated the woman multiple times without her consent. Prosecutors also alleged that he applied pressure to her neck during the incident.
These allegations remain unproven and are being tested during the trial.
Injuries and Alleged Aftermath
The court was told the complainant later suffered visible injuries, including bruising to her face and neck, as well as alleged bite marks to her breast.
Prosecutors also described events that allegedly occurred after the encounter. The court heard that Barrientos ordered room service before the woman prepared to leave the hotel room.
One of his associates allegedly entered the room during that time, and prosecutors claimed Barrientos made remarks about the complainant before she left the hotel.
Those details form part of the prosecution's account and have not been accepted as fact by the court.
Yung Filly Denies All Charges
Barrientos has pleaded not guilty to every charge against him.
The case centres on whether consent continued throughout the encounter, with prosecutors arguing that the complainant clearly withdrew consent after allegedly becoming frightened by the violence.
The defence is expected to challenge the prosecution's version of events as the trial progresses.
As with all criminal proceedings, Barrientos is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty by the court.

The trial is continuing in the District Court of Western Australia, where jurors will hear further evidence from witnesses before reaching a verdict.
The case has attracted significant international attention due to Yung Filly's large online following. The British content creator rose to prominence through comedy videos on YouTube before expanding into music, television presenting and live performances, building a substantial audience across social media platforms.
