TikTok creator Zoraida Jazmine has spoken out after receiving criticism over her Halloween costume on 1 November, with some social media users accusing her of copying BLACKPINK singer Jennie. Both women dressed as Suki, the street racer portrayed by Devon Aoki in the 2003 film 2 Fast 2 Furious.
Jazmine, identified in published coverage as @zoraida.jazmine, shared photographs and videos of her outfit around Halloween. Reported exchanges in her Instagram comments compared her look with Jennie's, with some users telling her that the K-pop star had worn the costume better.
Both Women Recreated the Same Film Character
Jennie attended Kendall Jenner's Halloween and birthday celebration in Los Angeles, held at Bar Marmont on 30 October 2026, ahead of Jenner's 31st birthday on 3 November. Her outfit recreated Suki's early-2000s street-racing look, including a purple cropped top, hot-pink chaps, a statement belt, and long, straight hair.
Aoki played Suki in 2 Fast 2 Furious, the second instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise. Jennie also posed in front of a red sports car, echoing the street-racing setting of the film.
Jazmine also chose Suki as her Halloween inspiration. Jazmine is a beauty and lifestyle creator whose TikTok posts include makeup videos, fashion content and product promotions. She had established an audience on the platform before the Halloween dispute. No verified evidence shows that Jazmine based her costume on Jennie's photographs.
Charli XCX was among the guests at Jenner's celebration. After Jennie shared her Suki costume photographs, Aoki reportedly commented on her Instagram post, 'Awww love this!!!' The actress did not comment on Jazmine's version of the Fast and Furious character as of press time.
Meanwhile, comments reported beneath Jazmine's costume posts included 'Jennie did better' and 'stop copying Jennie.' Jazmine reportedly restricted comments on one video after the comparisons continued, with Jennie's online fans continuing the comparisons regardless.
Jazmine Responds to the Accusations
Aoki's character was not the only one that Jazmine did as a Halloween costume. The ensemble was part of her Hallo-week promo that included her dressing as a Ferrari pit crew member and a cheerleader. She had a total of four costumes, with the Suki character being the third appearance.
Posts on X dated 1 November shared allegations about the Instagram comments and Jazmine's response. One account, KFlop Net, alleged that Jennie fans were 'harassing and attacking a female influencer' and said the creator had exposed hostile comments.
The creator addressed the reaction in an Instagram video. Published reports reproduced her on-screen message as: 'Getting attacked because a celebrity did the same costume as me lol happy Halloween.'
The dispute continued as users debated whether comparing Halloween costumes had crossed into personal attacks. Some posts defended Jazmine's choice to dress as a film character, while others continued to rank the two looks against each other.
Neither the character nor its distinctive pink-and-purple styling originated with either woman. The costume references Aoki's appearance in the 2003 film, which predates both Halloween posts by more than two decades.
Jazmine's Instagram video remains her clearest public response to the comparisons. Jennie has not publicly addressed the controversy, and there is no verified evidence that she encouraged followers to harass the creator.
