Anok Yai became one of the most notable names from Tom Ford's Spring/Summer 2027 runway after walking the Paris show on 30 September, earning praise for her striking presence, style and walk.
As runway clips circulated online, viewers quickly focused on Yai's standout appearance.
Yai wore a liquid-sheen bodysuit with a smoking jacket. The look was part of the show's 'companion' outfits, where models appeared in coordinated looks.
'I have never seen anything so magical like her. You can't take your eyes off of her. Black is beautiful,' one viewer wrote.

Another commenter joked, 'I presume the other girls just packed up and left...'
'The sparkle, the tailoring, the walk. Not a single department underperforming,' another wrote and 'Exactly who she thinks she is'.
Together at Gucci
Yai's Tom Ford appearance followed several recent fashion moments with Alex Consani.
The pair recently fronted LOVE Magazine's Issue 27 second cover and a joint editorial by Nick Waplington, where they appeared as 'supernannies' for a day, trading the catwalk for a school run.

Yai and Consani also walked Gucci's Spring/Summer 2027 show in Milan on 25 September.
Both appeared in the collection's eveningwear alongside models such as Candice Swanepoel and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. This show continued their series of major fashion appearances in September.
Consani also attracted attention at Vogue World: Milano earlier in the week.
She wore a bubblegum-pink, ankle-length Bottega Veneta dress from the brand's Fall 2026 collection during the event's 'Age of Intelligence' section.

Following the event, Vogue Italia named Consani's Bottega Veneta look as one of its standout choices from Vogue World.
Seduction Leads the Show
The collection centres on seduction. Ackermann staged the show in a dimly lit, mirrored venue where models walked alongside their reflections, individually or in groups.
In his show notes, Ackermann described seduction as 'the pillar on which this house is built' and expressed his intent to take it 'further, closer to danger'.
'There is something deeply sexual in a body that reveals itself without offering itself,' he wrote.
He also wrote, 'I am not interested in provocation. I am interested in the risk of being free,' before ending his notes with, 'Desire needs air'.
This concept was evident throughout the collection through sharp tailoring, sheer fabrics, close-fitting silhouettes, and glimpses of skin.

Tailored trousers appeared with sculptural rubber bustiers, while other looks featured plunging necklines and slashed bodysuits.
A semi-sheer skirt revealed a thong through a transparent back panel, while sculptural jackets and outerwear offered more coverage.
Mariacarla Boscono and Alex Consani wore striking red eveningwear, while the rest of the cast appeared in black, brown, green, and neutral pieces.
A New Tom Ford Chapter
Tom Ford named Haider Ackermann creative director in September 2024, replacing Peter Hawkings.
He debuted for Tom Ford in Paris in March 2025 with the Fall 2025 collection, featuring sharp tailoring and sensual eveningwear. The collection introduced a more expressive take on the brand's glamour.
Ackermann continued with the Spring 2026 and Fall 2026 collections, focusing on tailoring, sensual silhouettes and theatrical runway shows. Vogue described his Fall 2026 collection as his most diverse collection at the time.
For Spring/Summer 2027, he focused on tailoring and sensual dressing, combining leather, lingerie-inspired pieces, sheer fabrics, and fitted silhouettes.
