Camille Grammer has publicly criticised her ex-husband, actor Kelsey Grammer, alleging that he failed to contact their daughter, Mason Olivia Grammer, on her 25th birthday. The former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said Mason had waited for a phone call or text from her father but had received neither three days after the milestone occasion.

Camille shared her concerns in an Instagram post on Monday, 26 October 2026, following Mason's birthday on 24 October. She expressed disappointment over the situation and described the emotional impact of seeing her daughter wait for contact from her father.

'A daughter should never have to wonder whether her father remembers her birthday,' Camille wrote. 'Three days later, and still not a call or a text.' The post included throwback photographs of Mason with her father when she was younger. Camille's remarks focused on the importance of parental involvement beyond public recognition and professional success.

Camille Grammer Criticises Kelsey's Role as a Father

In her Instagram statement, Camille addressed Kelsey's role as a father, arguing that his public profile should not overshadow his family responsibilities. 'You can be a beloved actor to the world, but being a father is a role that requires showing up when the cameras are off,' she wrote.

She continued by saying that fame, awards and public admiration meant little if family members felt neglected. Camille also described the emotional impact of the situation, adding that some hurt could come from silence rather than words.

According to Camille, Mason had continued checking her phone throughout the weekend, hoping her father would get in touch. She said her daughter had considered whether he might have called from an unfamiliar number or whether a message had been mistakenly sent to her spam folder. Camille added that she found the situation painful as a mother watching her daughter wait for contact from her father.

Camille Questions Mason's Relationship With Her Father

Camille's criticism extended beyond the birthday itself. In a response shared in the comments, she also addressed Mason's relationship with Kelsey's current wife, Kayte Walsh. Camille said a stepmother should encourage a healthy and loving relationship between a father and his daughter. She claimed that, from her perspective, Mason had increasingly felt excluded from her father's life and home.

She added that a daughter deserved to feel welcomed, respected and loved, regardless of the relationships between the adults in the family. Kelsey had not publicly responded to Camille's latest accusations in the reports published on 27 October. Entertainment outlets reported that representatives for the actor had been contacted for comment.
