Kiki Morris has revealed the results of a deep-plane facelift performed in Istanbul, Turkey, with the former The Bachelor Australia star appearing with parts of her face still bandaged following the operation. The 39-year-old reality television personality debuted her new look on Monday, 26 October, and appeared to be pleased with the results.

Despite still recovering from surgery, Morris went for a light walk and visited Zara to shop for clothes. Her latest procedure has drawn attention to deep-plane facelifts, a form of cosmetic surgery designed to address sagging facial tissues and improve contours around the cheeks and jawline.

Kiki Morris Jokes About Shopping After Facelift

Morris shared a light-hearted comment about her decision to visit Zara while recovering from the operation. 'You really thought a facelift was going to stop me from going to Zara? Even with one eye fully closed I will not miss it,' she joked.

Her face remained partially bandaged when she showed off the results. The surgery was carried out in Istanbul and organised by Phoenix Health Tourism Consultancy Services.

What Is a Deep-Plane Facelift?

A deep-plane facelift is a surgical procedure that repositions deeper facial tissues beneath the skin to address sagging and changes in facial contours. The technique targets the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS), a layer of connective tissue and muscle that supports the face. During the operation, the surgeon releases certain facial ligaments and repositions the underlying tissues and skin together.

The procedure can target the midface and lower face, including the cheeks, jawline and folds extending from the nose towards the corners of the mouth. Depending on the patient's needs, it may also be combined with surgery to address the neck.

Unlike treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers, a deep-plane facelift involves surgery and requires a recovery period. Common post-operative effects include swelling, bruising and discomfort, while potential complications include infection, scarring, asymmetry and nerve injury.

Recovery times and results vary between patients. Anyone considering the procedure should discuss its potential benefits and risks with a suitably qualified plastic surgeon.

Kiki Morris' Past Cosmetic Procedures

Morris has spoken publicly about undergoing cosmetic treatments before her latest facelift. In 2016, she had undergone breast augmentation after being bullied about having a flat chest during high school. She said the procedure had made her feel less self-conscious.

The reality star has also discussed receiving Botox and dermal fillers. In 2017, she underwent Botox injections to reshape her jawline and relax muscles that had tightened over time.

At the time, Morris explained that she regularly clenched her jaw while sleeping, which she said contributed to severe headaches and migraines. She added that the treatment helped her achieve a slimmer-looking jawline while addressing her jaw-clenching habits.

From The Bachelor Australia to The Challenge

Morris became known to Australian audiences through Richie Strahan's season of The Bachelor Australia. After being eliminated from the dating series, she returned to television for the spin-off Bachelor in Paradise, where she also did not find a lasting romantic match.

In August 2023, Morris relocated from Australia to Ibiza, Spain, to live with her then-fiancé, Jorge. The couple have since split, and Morris now lives in Bali. That same year, she won The Challenge Australia, taking home a reported prize of A$100,000 (around £52,700).
