Justin and Hailey Bieber may have travelled to Seoul with business on the itinerary, but Hailey's camera roll suggests there was plenty of room left for banana milk, Korean rice cakes, face masks, and a little shopping.
The couple arrived in South Korea on 23 October as Justin marked the Seoul debut of his fashion and lifestyle brand SKYLRK. Its first South Korean pop-up opened in Seongsu-dong a day earlier, bringing the singer back to the country 13 years after his 2013 concert in Seoul.
Hailey, on the other hand, had a shorter reunion to make. She visited Seoul earlier this year and apparently missed it enough to caption her latest Instagram carousel with a simple, 'ily KR.' From the state of the post's comment section, it looks like South Korea loves Hailey back just as much.
Hailey Bieber's Seoul Camera Roll Came With Snacks
Among Hailey's snapshots was one of Korea's most recognisable convenience-store drinks: Binggrae's Banana Flavored Milk. The little yellow bottles have been around since 1974 and have become a staple in K-Dramas and everyone's Seoul snacking wish list.
Binggrae noticed its cameo in Mrs Bieber's Instagram carousel and showed some banana-flavoured love. 'Seoul looks good on you💗 So does our Banana Flavored Milk💛,' the brand's official account commented beneath Hailey's post.
Banana milk was hardly the only Korean treat to make her photo dump, with Hailey sharing several other snacks and meals from the trip. Korean reports said the couple also enjoyed rice cakes from Seoul dessert brand Hanjungsun, alongside shabu-shabu and Korean beer.
Justin and Hailey also visited Muguok, a chicken-speciality restaurant in Jongno-gu, on the day they arrived. As reported by Korean media, the couple headed to Dosan Hoikwan near Dosan Park the following day for Korean barbecue and even requested to try soju.
Hailey's carousel also documented a bubbling hot pot and a white lemon-topped dessert alongside plenty of non-edible souvenirs from the trip.
Seoul Looks Good on Hailey Bieber
Eating her way through Seoul was only half the assignment. Hailey also squeezed in some Korean beauty time, posting a close-up selfie while wearing a blue sheet mask.
Fashion naturally made the camera roll too. One mirror selfie showed the Rhode founder shopping in tiny black leather shorts, a grey knit jumper, narrow sunglasses, and black kitten-heeled sandals. Another black-and-white shot captured her in the same shorts and jumper while holding her phone.
Meanwhile, Justin had SKYLRK business to attend to. The Seongsu pop-up opened from 22 to 25 October with clothing, footwear, eyewear, and tech from the brand, including Seoul-exclusive pieces.
It was also the couple's first reported trip to South Korea together, although Hailey already had a head start. During her May visit, she shared photos of herself shopping for Korean snacks and digging into mango shaved ice.
This time, she brought her husband along for the ride. Between SKYLRK's pop-up store and a busy camera roll, the Biebers proved that even if you're in Seoul for business, there's always room on the schedule for banana milk.
