Joe Keery and Chase Sui Wonders have reignited dating rumours after newly published photographs showed the actors sharing an affectionate embrace in New York City, three years after they were first romantically linked. The Stranger Things star, 34, and the Bodies Bodies Bodies actress, 30, appeared together in photographs published on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, prompting renewed curiosity about their relationship.
In one image, Wonders appeared to kiss Keery on the cheek as the pair embraced, although the affectionate gesture does not confirm whether they are romantically involved. The latest photographs come three years after the actors first sparked dating speculation, with neither publicly confirming a romantic relationship.
Joe Keery and Chase Sui Wonders Spark Fresh Romance Speculation With NYC Hug
The newly published photographs captured Keery and Wonders sharing a close embrace during what appeared to be a goodbye in New York City. Keery was dressed casually, carrying a backpack and wearing a navy bandana, while Wonders opted for a red jumper and white trousers. The pair appeared comfortable together, with Wonders leaning towards Keery's face as they hugged. Their affectionate interaction has revived questions about whether they might be romantically involved, although there is no confirmed relationship timeline establishing that they previously dated or separated.
The photographs follow earlier sightings that attracted attention because of the actors' apparent closeness. Despite the public interest, neither Keery nor Wonders has publicly clarified the nature of their connection. Keery has continued balancing his acting career with music under the stage name Djo, while Wonders has remained active in film and television. Their latest appearance together has attracted renewed attention, particularly after relatively little public coverage of their outings together in recent years. However, the affectionate encounter should not be interpreted as confirmation of a romantic relationship.
They Were First Linked in October 2023
Keery and Wonders first sparked dating speculation on 22 October 2023, when they were photographed enjoying an affectionate walk through Manhattan. The actors were seen strolling arm-in-arm, laughing together and appearing relaxed in each other's company. Their outing attracted attention because Wonders had recently ended her relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, whom she dated after working together on Bodies Bodies Bodies.
Keery, meanwhile, had previously been in a long-term relationship with actress Maika Monroe, which began in 2017. Although the October 2023 photographs prompted widespread curiosity, neither Keery nor Wonders publicly confirmed that they were dating. The pair were also reportedly photographed together in New York in February 2024, further fuelling speculation about their connection. However, subsequent public sightings attracted less attention, and neither actor provided a confirmed account of their relationship status.
The latest October 2026 photographs have now brought renewed attention to their history, with the affectionate embrace echoing the closeness captured during their earlier appearances. While some observers may interpret the encounter as evidence of a romantic connection, there is no public confirmation that the actors were previously a couple. For now, the photographs have revived interest in Keery and Wonders' connection, but whether their relationship extends beyond friendship remains uncertain.
