Johnny Suh packed two personalities for Paris Fashion Week, and fortunately, there was enough room in that Acne Studios bag for both.

The NCT 127 star and Acne Studios global brand ambassador arrived at the fashion house's Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear show on Wednesday, 30 September, channelling a softer take on front-row dressing. Hours later, the cardigan was gone, the studs had arrived and Johnny's preppy Parisian alter ego had officially clocked out for the afterparty.

It was a sartorial switch-up that took him from polished prep to after-hours grunge without losing the relaxed proportions running through the stitches of both looks. If the first outfit belonged in the front row, the second was very much dressed for painting Paris red and studded.

Johnny Suh Goes Soft for the Front Row

For the Acne Studios show, Johnny layered a pale green cardigan over a pink button-down, allowing a contrasting striped collar to peek through at the neckline. Then dark, generously cut denim and black shoes kept the pastel-heavy upper half from becoming overly sweet, or as fans joked in the comment section: 'It's giving cosmo and Wanda 💗💚' and 'Johnny Suh as strawberry matcha latte'.

Then the bag stole the show. A grey Acne Studios shoulder bag hung casually against his side, its proportions playing nicely against the cardigan and collared layers. His softly textured, pink-toned hair completed a look that was preppy in theory but unmistakably Fashion Week ready in execution: slightly slouchy, deliberately mismatched, and pastel on purpose. Overall, we wouldn't be surprised if the politely mellow outfit requested a cup of coffee before starting its well-organised day.

While the front-row seat ensemble looked slightly underwhelming when compared to his previous Fashion Week outfits that notoriously made jaws drop, it does go to show that fashion can shine in more genres than one.

Johnny occupied the front row alongside fellow international stars at the Paris presentation, continuing a relationship with Acne Studios that predates his appointment as the Swedish fashion house's global brand ambassador in February 2025.

The Cardigan Clocks Out

By the time the afterparty clocked in, apparently so had the rebellious phase of Johnny's Parisian wardrobe. The K-pop idol traded the soft pastels and collegiate layering for a wine red shirt underneath a dark denim jacket covered in metallic studs. Wide denim trousers continued the oversized silhouette of his daytime look, but the hardware transformed the mood from polished and buttoned-up to something that has 'Fashion Week' written all over it.

Even the styling loosened up. Without the oversized shoulder bag and careful layers, the studded jacket became the main event: two outfits, same fashion house, entirely different personalities. Acne Studios may have dressed Johnny for the whole day, but nobody said he had to remain the same man after sunset.

From Paris to the Redline

Johnny's fashion week appearance comes during an equally busy period for NCT 127. The group released its seventh album, Blingy, on 24 August before launching its fifth tour, Neo City: The Redline, with three Seoul concerts from 18 to 20 September.

Transforming more cities into 'Neo City', the tour continues in Jakarta on Saturday, 3 October, followed by dates across Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok and Manila.

That leaves Johnny with very little time to decide which version of himself is boarding the next flight. Judging by Paris, however, packing both seems to be working just fine. From wearing a red top to an Acne Studios afterparty to touring for The Red Line, red is certainly Johnny's colour.
