OnlyFans stars Julia and Lauren Burch have taken their family business in an unexpected direction by helping their disabled 46-year-old mother, Pam, launch her own account on the adult-content platform. The New York Post reported on 31 October that the twin sisters, who reportedly earn six figures a month through their pages, encouraged their mum to to join the platform came after a rare genetic condition forced her to abandon her career, leaving her struggling to cover everyday expenses with disability payments.
The twin sisters have put their content-creation experience to work by helping their mum with photoshoots and social media pictures. While the unusual mother-daughter arrangement has proved financially rewarding, it has also attracted criticism from social media users questioning the normalisation of adult-content creation.
The Twins' OnlyFans Success
Julia and Lauren, both 25, began building their online careers after launching their OnlyFans accounts in July 2020. The Los Angeles-based sisters initially dreamed of becoming models as children, but Julia explained that their height made traditional modelling more difficult, encouraging them to explore social media instead.
The gamble eventually paid off, with each sister reportedly attracting around two million Instagram followers and more than 400,000 OnlyFans subscribers. Their earnings have also reached six figures monthly, according to their account of their success, while Lauren described the work as demanding but worthwhile, saying they loved what they did.
Mum Pam Joins The Platform
Now, their mother has followed a similar path, although her reasons for joining were quite different from those of her daughters. Pam, 46, launched her own OnlyFans account in 2023, with Julia and Lauren helping her navigate the content-creation side of the business.
Pam has reportedly accumulated around 15,000 subscribers and earned six figures in total since starting her page. Rather than treating the platform as a shared account, the mother and daughters each maintain their own presence, with Pam developing her own audience and receiving practical support from the twins.
The sisters have also become involved behind the scenes, helping their mother with photographs and social media content. Lauren explained that they enjoy taking pictures with Pam, including creating seasonal and holiday-themed images for her online presence.
Their involvement offers an unusual twist on the typical family business arrangement, with two successful content creators now using their experience to help their mother build her own following. Pam has also made it clear that she appreciates their support, previously describing her daughters as smart and saying she has always been proud of them.
Rare Disease Changed Her Career
Before joining OnlyFans, Pam had a very different professional life. She raised Julia, Lauren and their brother as a single mother in Ontario, Canada, while working multiple jobs and homeschooling her children for much of their childhood to support their competitive dancing ambitions.
After spending seven or eight years working as a waitress, she returned to school and eventually became a child and youth care practitioner for the school board. However, her circumstances changed dramatically after she was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a rare genetic neuromuscular disorder that can cause muscle weakness and fatigue, particularly affecting the arms and legs.
Disability Payments Fell Short
Pam eventually had to leave her job because of her condition, while also going through a separation from her fiancé. She said her disability payments of approximately £1,500 ($2,000) a month were not enough to cover her living expenses, making finding a flexible source of income increasingly important.
'OnlyFans seemed like the best next step,' Pam explained, adding that the platform allows her to work whenever she can and rest her body when necessary. Despite her daughters' success, Pam reportedly continues to live in a van for much of the year in Ontario, where she spends most of her time.
Online Critics Question Family Venture
Despite their enthusiasm, the three women have not escaped criticism over their decision to build careers on the same adult-content platform. Some social media commenters questioned the normalisation of the arrangement, with one asking how society had become so accepting of what they described as 'demonic activity', while another called it 'the continuing fall of civilization'.
The twins have also spoken about receiving insults directed at the entire family, including accusations of 'fatherless behaviour' and comments calling them a 'family full of whores'. However, Julia and Lauren said they tend to laugh off the remarks, while Pam suggested that some critics could simply be jealous of their success.
