Kim Kardashian is expanding her NikeSKIMS partnership with three new Waffle Racer trainers, each priced at $130 and set to launch on 10 November 2026. The collection introduces Light Bone, Baroque Brown and Thunder Blue colourways, bringing the reality star's fashion label into another iconic Nike footwear silhouette.

Featuring suede and leather overlays, nylon uppers and co-branded details, the trainers offer a fresh interpretation of Nike's archive-inspired running shoe. The footwear will be available through the Nike and SKIMS websites, with selected retailers also expected to carry the collection.

All three designs will be offered in women's sizing, while a separate NikeSKIMS Retro Sport apparel collection is scheduled to follow on 17 November.

NikeSKIMS Waffle Racer Gets Three Colourways

The upcoming collection features three interpretations of Nike's Waffle Racer, retaining its low-profile silhouette while introducing different colour combinations and material details. Each pair features a nylon upper with suede and leather overlays, creating a contrast in textures while maintaining the trainer's retro-inspired appearance.

The Light Bone version offers the palest option, pairing its neutral base with deep red accents and contrasting details. Baroque Brown takes a darker direction, featuring a rich brown upper and a dark leather Swoosh that appears almost purple, while Thunder Blue combines a deep blue upper with tan-brown leather detailing.

Despite their different appearances, all three versions share the same defining feature: NikeSKIMS co-branding. The collaborative logo appears on the tongue labels, heel tabs and sock liners, distinguishing the trainers from standard versions of Nike's archive-inspired footwear.

The Waffle Racer traces its roots to Nike's early running footwear, with the model introduced in 1977. Its distinctive waffle outsole originated with co-founder Bill Bowerman's experiments in the early 1970s, when he used a waffle iron to develop a lightweight rubber sole designed to improve traction.

Kardashian has described the Waffle Racer as a design she has repeatedly returned to over the years. 'It's so easy to wear and never goes out of style', she said, explaining the appeal of reinterpreting the classic trainer for the collaboration.

Kim Kardashian Expands Nike Partnership

The Waffle Racer follows the NikeSKIMS Air Rift, marking another addition to the footwear offering created through the partnership. While the Air Rift introduced a distinctive split-toe design, the latest release takes a different approach by retaining the familiar Waffle Racer profile and concentrating on updated materials, colourways and collaborative branding.

SKIMS, co-founded by Kardashian and Jens Grede in 2019, initially established itself through shapewear, underwear and everyday essentials before expanding into additional clothing categories. Its collaboration with Nike represents a significant move into sportswear, allowing the brand to reach consumers beyond its original shapewear market.

Rather than substantially changing the original trainer's construction, the latest collection places the NikeSKIMS identity on an established Nike design. The result combines the appeal of vintage running footwear with the branding and styling associated with Kardashian's label.

The footwear launch will be followed by the NikeSKIMS Retro Sport apparel collection on 17 November. The wider release extends the partnership beyond trainers, introducing athletic-inspired clothing that builds on the collaboration's combination of Nike's sportswear heritage and SKIMS' fashion-led identity.

The release also highlights the growing crossover between performance sportswear and contemporary fashion, with established athletic designs increasingly becoming part of everyday wardrobes.
