A set of images showing Zendaya and Tyla posing together in white vests and loose Levi's jeans has drawn more than a million views on one post alone since Tuesday 20 October, shared with captions announcing a campaign for 2027. No such campaign has been announced, and a growing number of people looking at the pictures have reached the same conclusion: they were made by a machine.
The images show the two women against a plain brown backdrop, hair sleek and identical in length, wearing matching knotted white tops and jeans folded over at the waist. One of the accounts that spread them captioned the set 'Tyla and Zendaya stuns for "Levi"'. Another posted it as a question rather than a statement, ending its caption with two question marks.

That hedging looks sensible, because nothing supports the claim. Levi's has not announced a campaign with either woman, and both are already signed elsewhere.
The Campaign Nobody Announced
Levi's launched two global campaigns in 2026. Keep It Loose arrived in August with Rosé and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Behind Every Original came first, launching in February during the Super Bowl at the company's own stadium, with Doechii, Questlove and Stefanie Giesinger alongside the same two. Neither Zendaya nor Tyla appears in either, and the brand's newsroom carries no announcement of anything for 2027.
Both women are also committed to other labels. Zendaya has been a Louis Vuitton house ambassador since 2023 and is also a global ambassador for Prada Beauty. Tyla, the South African singer, was named Kate Spade's global brand ambassador in July and fronted the label's autumn campaign in August.
No report of a deal has surfaced in the fashion trade press. Neither woman has shared the images, and Levi's has said nothing. For a campaign supposedly landing next year, the silence is total.
Admiration First, Then Doubt
The first wave of replies was straightforwardly admiring. 'It's giving TWINS,' one commenter wrote. Another said the pair 'could lowk pull it off as sisters', using shorthand for low-key. A third was blunter still: 'THIS IS ACTUALLY SO HOT.'

The doubt arrived close behind, and it was often mixed into the same compliment. 'This giving IA. But Tyla clearing, no shade,' one reply read, muddling the letters of AI while still ranking Tyla the winner of the shoot.
Others were simply tired. 'I hate A.I photos much man,' wrote one, in a reply that drew hundreds of likes. 'I'm so sick of ai !!!!!!!!!!' another added. One commenter put the warning plainly under the version that had gone furthest: 'This isn't ai right cus if it is count ur days.'
Zendaya Has Been Here Before
The person at the centre of this has spent the year dealing with the same problem. Earlier in 2026, images of Zendaya in a wedding dress alongside Tom Holland spread widely enough that she was asked about them on a late-night show. A separate fake circulated showing her with a baby bump.
She was unimpressed, and precise about why it mattered. 'Many people have been fooled by them,' she said of the wedding pictures.
That is the part worth holding on to here. These images are convincing enough that an entertainment account with a verified badge posted them as news, and convincing enough that the replies argued about the styling rather than the provenance. Her verdict on the wedding photos applies just as neatly to a denim campaign nobody can find.
'Babe, they're AI', she said. 'They're not real'.
